2008 design trends>>> COOL SITES Inside
I have found this interesting website and thought to share it with you guys:

Those are all basically the same style of collage design just different twists.
Someone else posted a better link explaining web design trends and their specific styles. |

ha ha, he's basically a hating troll who lives life "1 pixel at a time", just imagine how bored he must be ;) anyway, yes, that was kind of the trend for 2007 and 2008, I've used almost all of those styles based on that trend since 2006 (adapted to adult, of course). The page reflects it accurately, although they're missing some ultra sharp minimalistic designs based on Japanese designers. The trends mentioned in that site have a huge influence of late 50s design from Germany and the soviet satellites (Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and such). You can see that on the 58/63 editions of Germany's "Gebrauch Graphiks" (it might be wrong spelled) and Japan's Idea magazine (still alive and it has electronic version). You gotta see the new trends coming from South America, esp Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, really talented designers with a strong ultra creative style. All in all, I predict a return of 80s "neo-bauhaus-esque" styles for the next months I'll see if I can find anything else, but thanx for the link, some nice work and inspiration there :) |
