How do you deal with your content's jealous boyfriends and pissed off parents?
 

Have you ever had a really hot model working with you for a while, only to suddenly have it all stop cold because of her jealous boyfriend of upset parents, or only a fear that they will find out?

We have lost several models (and our investment in them) over the years because of this very problem.

Any suggestions for how we can handle this problem? This problem is always pretty expensive for us (photos, advertising, traffic, blogs, etc) and would like to read from others on ways to avoid this problem in the future.

What you mean with had to stop? Like pull a complete site? I would tell them to piss off?

if i meet a new model, first thing i do is check if the parents know & if theres a jealous boyfriend problem. if so & the model puts the bf before the site...i dont do a site! if however you've already started the site, invite the boyfriend to watch a shoot. whats going through his mind is 100% worse than what it is! you'll soon find you have him on side as soon as he sees how boring it can be & ends up not being bothered about what she does!! xx

You might want to clarify Mark. I think losing a live webcam model is a little different than losing a solo site model.

Shit happens .. and the only thing you can really do is roll with the punchs .. unless you have established a written contract .. your better off accomidating her as best you can .. chances are good (should you have accomdidated her) she will return.

Boyfreinds Eventually leave, As mean as it may sound .. Money becomes more important to them (the model) then her BF's cock and poor ass. AS for parents .. they come around and accept they're daughter for whom they are ... Or the Daughter figures out a way to hide it from her parents once more .. iether way when the moneys run out she will return ... Naturally the money has to be good to start with.

Shit happens. I have seen more girls come and go to care anymore. Just make sure your bank roll and drug supply is greater then her BF or parents.

First and foremost you sign a contract with the model before any shooting happens.

The contract states that you will own the content and you will not remove the content by her request.

Next you shoot 2 years worth of content up front.

Now if she leaves you still have a ton of content for updates.

As for the contract... be careful. That contract may not be enforceable outside of California. Freeman allowed content production to occur here. So far no other state has addressed the issue, either legislatively or judicially.

As for screening... screen well. I had a client decide to pull his entire site because he shot the niece (amateur model) of a Sheriff's deputy and his coworkers found out. The uncle started an investigation into the site and into him personally. Instead of trying to deal with it, he decided it would be best if he pulled the site.

Sometimes this is why shooting porn performers is much better than amateurs.

This is why live cam models are different than solo site models.

tell her to keep shooting or you will tell her parents?

Or as v_rocks said, use a contract.

congratulations! you have arrived as a content shooter! the very best way is to shoot as much as possible then forget about the model. models that will follow through on a solo site are EXTREMELY rare.

other than dating the model yourself, to keep her on track, there is not much you can do.

MAybe after the BF will realise that it's not such a big deal.. As someone stated, you can also invite him to see a cam session, if you feel he can handle it...
