1k for a fucking sat antennae, jeebus... thing must be trick... we used to do the xm and sirrius ones with kenwood and alpine navs for way way cheaper.

I bet that is a pain to replace actually. Normally Id do a "do it yourself" fix. I ran a bodyshop at a dealership, and even I would probably just let Mercedes do the repair in that case. :2 cents:
