How often do you hit up Tim Hortons?

I used to laugh at all the people that lined up at Timmy Hoes. See these suckers waiting in line that usually went around the corner. I thought they were all a little nuts. Now though since I'm getting up early every morning to head to the downtown Toronto office I must have my morning cup of Tea from TH or I just don't fuction..lol.

GatorB 06-25-2008 07:33 AM

Eva PSC 06-25-2008 07:57 AM

Dollarmansteve 06-25-2008 07:57 AM

Btw, it's growing in the US too. Couple years ago I drove out to NY and found that the TH's there were also filled up with people.

StuartD 06-25-2008 08:01 AM

Almost never. I don't drink coffee, and from what I've heard theirs is some of the worst anyway. No one, not even Timmy's addicts, can explain to me why they have to have it so much.

Iron Fist 06-25-2008 08:02 AM

In the winter.. at least once a day... sometimes twice. During the summer - never.

CDSmith 06-25-2008 08:15 AM

Once every.... never.

I brew my own coffee at home. It's terrific, and it only costs me about 5 cents a cup.

HorseShit 06-25-2008 08:17 AM

Here in Maine it's growing at a crazy rate, I like their food quite a bit too and it's cheap

Quagmire 06-25-2008 08:19 AM

Timmies is the bomb. I have 2 large double doubles a day. One for my drive in, then one about noon. The guys in the office wander down to the one at the corner of King & John for a mid-day break.

Funny thing, Amit & I were wandering along King St on Monday going to Timmies and we bumped in to David Suzuki.

xxxdesign-net 06-25-2008 08:20 AM

You know they microwave their frozen donuts before they serve it to you?

Tim Horton was a Canadian hockey player, and as such the company was a Canadian company for the longest time.

But now they're owned by Wendy's and is beginning to branch out. Last year they went public along with the announcement of plans to open thousands of stores in the US.

Good for him. He took a risk, opened up a business that became part of canadian culture and at 77 enjoys his money. Nothing wrong with that.

Martin 06-25-2008 09:00 AM

Jigga man, damn that's a trip. Haven't seen you around in a looooong time.

Hope you're doing well.

MaLayLaH 06-25-2008 10:01 AM

I rarely go there.

d-null 06-25-2008 10:26 AM

hardly ever go there, maybe if I really want a donut or timbits, if I'm wanting coffee or tea then Starbucks is way better :2 cents:

WiredGuy 06-25-2008 10:32 AM

I used to love Tim Horton's, then I discovered Williams. TH sucks by comparison.
