lighttpd
Is it possible to set up lighty to stream flv files more intelligently?
For example, clip is 30 minutes long and a user with a fast connection watches the first 3 minutes of the clip and decides he has had enough and does not want to watch anymore of the clip, and closes it...However, the clips had already downloaded in its entirety, and I just paid for that bandwidth even though the user only watched three minutes....Supposedly wowza media server does this (downloads only a little more than what the user watches)...but I would like to stay with lighty if possible. Can this be done? |
