It's not that far fetched. We've evolved quite a bit in the last 100,000 years. Personally I don't think we'll live 100,000 years, but that's just me.

I read the article. Rather silly. More likely our far off descendants will
be a fusion between human biology and intelligent/sentient machines.

Totally unrecognizable to us and probably horrifying.

But in reality no one can predict 100 yrs into the future, let alone 100,000.

About 50,000 years ago, there were different human species. That must have been trippy.

It is a bunch of theoretical nonsense that anyone can make up. The only obvious conclusion could be that we will look more similar do to inter racial breeding, and mankind may not ever live long enough to see that happen.

Ever see Idiocracy? The movie is incredibly funny the first time you watch it. Once you realize it's not a comedy, rather a prediction, it becomes the saddest movie you have ever seen.

Not much science in there, no numbers, not even a pie chart... just some jackoff's opinion. The one problem with this is that looks + intelligence != success and I'm sure a lot of us know more than one example of a person that has average or below looks and minimal intelligence but still has gained an impressive station in society. attractiveness + intelligence + booze = knocking up a knuckle dragging fat chick further postponing the clandestine creation of two species

Plus the exact same cultural/genetic pressures that guide our decision with whom to mate with have been in play for 100,000 years yet we still have only one species.
