WARNING: Delete incriminating email and text messages ASAP

My buddy just got busted when his present girlfriend read an email he sent to his ex-girlfriend 2 months ago. It was meant to be a private discussion about what happened between them but now his present girlfriend knows about it. :(

It wasnt even that bad of an email but it doesnt take much to ignite jealousy. Then there is the 2 hour talks and endlessly having to hear about it when they bring it up out of the blue. And I think when a significant other comes across an email or text they dont like a piece of his/her feelings and trust for you dies...

This reminds me of when i got busted 6 years ago over an email that I foolishly left in my inbox.

So just practice safe emailing and texting and just get in the habit of deleting possibly incriminating emails and texts AS SOON as you send or receive them.:2 cents: That includes from your inbox, sent box, and trash.

If this post saves just one guy/girl from the headaches of getting busted then my work here is done.

Peace out.

yup, nobody gets on my computer but me. Want a family computer in the living room, that's cool, but a personal computer is exactly that a personal computer.

Ugh, my last boyfriend was the worst about this - even if the emails weren't incriminating to a normal, logical person, he would still interpret them as such. He took it to the level of e-stalking me too, and would find forum posts I'd made years before we'd even MET and freak out at me over those, too. Even after I dumped him, he would harass pretty much any male friends/neighbors I had over these imaginary affairs I was having that he'd dreamed up in his head.

Lesson learned: don't date crazy/overly insecure people.

My current boyfriend doesn't snoop, but he does have to deal with me now being instinctively jumpy/overprotective of my privacy, just out of habit from the last guy - like, even if I'm just typing an e-mail to my cousin about her baby or something that would never offend anyone, and he walks in the room, I instinctively minimize it. I probably look so shady, but he's figured out by now that it's just habit because I got used to the other guy going INSANE over everything. It didn't help that my mom was the same way - in high school she actually installed a keylogger on my computer because she was so convinced (wrongly - I didn't smoke, drink, or have sex until I graduated) that I was this horrible, problem child. I'm either naturally suspicious/shady looking, or I just have a batshit mother.

On a related note, what are the popular affiliate programs / products these days for assisting people in deleting stuff off their computer?

A good relationship has no secrets.
Besides...
Once fucking around has been established and occur's frequently what secrets are left to be or get angry about?

Missy 06-30-2008 09:37 PM

Here's an idea... If it's something you know you would get in trouble for doing... don't do it! If she means anything to you, it's not worth breaking her trust over.

Oh wait - who am I kidding?!? This IS GFY, after all :1orglaugh
