Ganja Queen on HBO
Just watched this show on HBO called Ganja Queen. If you've seen it, pretty fucked up documentary (if you believe shes innocent)
This girl goes on vacation from Australia to Bali and somehow 10lbs of pot are put in her bag along the way. The Bali police really have no proof other than it was in her bag, but her and her family swears it was not stuffed in there when they went through check in. Ironically nothing was picked up when she checked the bags in through security in Sydney. She got 20 years and appealed twice and lost. my :2 cents: I believe it was an inside job at the baggage handlers. but its still scary shit tho, makes me nervous to travel outside the US... that or I should stop watching wierdo shows on HBO |
Does she look like shes a mule?

if she would of gone by herself, would of been believable that she was a drug mule, but it was pretty noticeable the bag they showed when she landed in Bali. it was a body board bag STUFFED with a 10lb bag of pot and a body board. imo, they def would of caught this through security in Sydney when she checked in. |
It's on on Movie Network in Canada right now, I'll check it out.
|
bunk deal... government should go in and get her... but they wont...

me and my roomates and friends all just sat around and finished watching that about 30 minutes ago. really neat documentary.
personally, throughout the whole video i thought she was innocent; victim of smugglers using her baggage to get through security. but at the end, i really started to think that she knew what was going on to some extent; i think that her dads neighbor (the admitted pot grower) and her were selling/smuggling shit to pay for her dads cancer treatment. i think the family had no idea until she was arrested, then they did their best to help her get off. |

i think if she knew people there in Bali it would of been a little more believable that she was a mule or trying to carry it. the fact that her dad had cancer kinda of made you think that she was doing it because they needed the money, but her story dosent make it seem that way, or at least i thought. scary regardless because its totally possible for something shaddy like this to happen with baggage handlers. makes me not want to check in luggage next time i fly |
is this worth downloading?
|
Gonna have to check it out..
|
Are their rules against locking your suitcases? I never fly so I wouldn't know..
|
Always lock your baggage.
|
That sounds interesting considering I just watched Super High Me last night.

That being said, before traveling to any country, make sure to review the laws!
I know myself that I won't travel to countries that pose a threat to me, like UAE or whatever. |

i still think it was an inside job at the airport |
i got to watch that.
|
Either way, she should have watched the movie The Chase.
With the neighbor and all that coming... and the father lying about his 70's marijuana conviction... there's something suspicious... oh yeah and his brother stealing and getting in prison... |

i believe she is guilty.
1. all of her family is involved some way in some type of crime, yet all believe they arent responsible somehow 2. her neighbor / dads best friend busted for pot growing 3. after all of the evidence was taken into account, the indonesian govt still believed she was guilty. 4. she is a good actor, do i feel sorry for her... no |

SHES HOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Too many inconsistencies on both sides. The baggage handlers at Sydney and her family. |
I saw that tonight. Fucked up if she truthfully didn't do it. They destroyed the evidence and never tested for finger prints or DNA etc. Shit doesn't add up. Makes me think it was an inside job. Ok I'm done playing Matlock. LOL

Download the National Geographic show "Banged Up Abroad"
It's about all kinds of cases like this.. incredible stories.. |
There is no way to know for sure, it could have been either way
