Then it was DDOS again, ok cool it happens. Then it was down because webmasters were making large queries on the site? Ok then? Then I heard something like they were randomly banning certain countries? What's the excuse this time, because they banned CANADA? Who knows how much money has been lost because of this. Not only is the 21sextury Cash down but, all their sites as well.
These guys have some of the best content and most up-to-date webmaster areas around and I love using them but this is toooo much. I don't send them much traffic to being with (mainly because of all these problems) but as soon as I reach the minimum payout for this period, I'm done with them.
Not sure why I vented here, I guess I just wanted to see how everyone else is feeling about them at this point? Am I the only one, or are not many other webmasters complaining because they're done with them already?

Well, guess how frustrated we are then.
In the most recent issue an another customer of Prolexic's got attacked, which took down all of their clients.
The things when countries "disappear" are happens sometimes due to Prolexic and their filtering. And in this case not the whole county is getting disappeared only some IP ranges from certain ISPs. We can send you MRTG graph to prove that even you see the sites "disappeared" they are still up and working flawlessly for 95% of the globe. As the bandwidth doesn't drop. If all the sites would totally disappear, then the traffic would disappear.
Certainly it frustrates us as well, when all the sites are disappeared from our office too. Our team is 24/7 assisting Prolexic and CWIE our host when we recognize the problems, so that they can fix these network issues right away.
About the queries. Yeah, if somebody shoots a query, our database server times out. But we can't help on this as we didn't build the database structure. What we could do is that nats guys have separated for us the queries of the stats from the signups to a totally different server. So this way, the signups work even if the frontend of the cash site is timed out.
We are hoping that nats 4.0 will solve this query issue permanenetly.
In the same time we are working on alternative options what will be a permanent solution for all the above mentioned problems. As we are working with 3rd party vendors, sometimes it doesn't go as smooth as we plan even tho if we push it as hard as we can.
