Purebred Akita Puppies for sale.
Anyone interested in an Akita puppy or know someone who is? We've got a large litter of purebred Akita pups that are five weeks old today, they will be ready for new home in three weeks. I live in Southern CA, so if you are at all intrigued check out the blog I put up. It has photos of each puppy and more information.

wow.. cute pic... love akita's... they don't work well in apartments.
|
good dogs.. but they need lots of cold weather and room to roam.

Before I consider.... please answer these questions and concerns I have:
1. What health tests have been done on BOTH parents of the litter? And the documentation to prove that you have done all the necessary health tests prior to breeding? 2. What temperament testing and socialization has been done? 3. What was the reason for the breeding? 4. Do you have a spay/neuter agreement with adopters? 5. What inoculations have been given? 6. Can you get references of previous puppy buyers? 7. Are you active in any breed clubs? 8. Can I have my own vet examine the pup before I fully commit? 9. Can I see the puppies in the presence of the mom? 10. What are the good and bad points of the parents, and what titles do they have? |

No I'm not giving them away. They are $800 and we are not shipping them.
Why would you say they are not good apartment dogs? Every single breed is a "good" apartment dog, as long as you give them what they need. I've had two full grown Akitas in an apartment and there were no problems. As long as they get exercise everyday and discipline (boundaries & limitations) then it doesn't matter if they live in an apartment or a house. Akitas rarely bark. Akitas don't "need" cold weather, they are simply well equipped with their thick coats. The amount of room an Akita has is unimportant as long as they are walked every day. If they have a large yard then that is great but they still need exercise and discipline. Walrus - If you are really interested in a puppy please visit our blog for more information or to contact us to have your questions answered. "Akitas are generally quiet and not prone to nuisance barking. Despite their quiet nature, they are natural guardians. They do not need and should not have special watch dog training. The Akita will instinctively guard your home, which is one of the reasons they require extensive socialization. They need to learn that not all strangers are threats." - The Akita Club of America http://www.akitaclub.org/info/breedinfo.html |
I hear Akitas taste good, is that true? At $800 a pup, they've better taste VERY good. Also, I agree with the guy who said "show your tits". It is ok if they are not yours. Not everyone has ones worth showing. It would be good for the guys who don't really care about dogs.

Reputable breeders hardly need to advertise at all as they already have a good reputation. I've seen other backyard breeders come on here and do the same thing, yet everyone just says "cute puppies!" and don't see the real picture. |
Beautiful puppies , good luck mate

Sweet looking dog..though not sure I would want to sell any dog to somebody I didn't know very well personally but that is probably why I could never breed.
|
Akita's were used to guard temple in the far East, Japan and were used to fight bears and dears.
I wanted one but that meant buying a bigger garden fence at least 6 foot high. My mate has got one and is fully grown, once you see the size of its muscular neck any person would shit it. Very nice dogs if you know how to look after one. |
Cute pet..looks like a bear :)
