Good help ticket system software? Sponsors?

Can any of you sponsors recommend a simple help ticket system for use on a program for both affiliates to use and affiliate reps?

I see there are some good looking open source ones, what's everyone using that's PHP based?

Most folks I know just use Kayako SupportSuite, but I like JIRA.

Gleem,

I demo'd this script a while back and have it bookmarked - you might like it as well

And no, that's not a referral link, it's how he has his site set up :)

You can check out Cerberus... should do everything you want and then a little more and it's fairly inexpensive. I like it.

JIRA seems hella expensive for a ticket system, and Kayako SupportSuite aint that much cheaper... hmmmm

If you can't afford the $500 to purchase an license for a support product, you may have other issues in the near future.

just because I can afford it, doesn't mean I want to shell out the cash for it. There seem to be plenty of free ones that look good enough, and I only need this for a few employees.

If you'd rather pay for someone to fix/patch around/restore a (poorly written / maintained/ etc) product within weeks to months, that's up to you. When it comes to business, I'm not going to choose a free product over a paid product just because it's free - especially if there's any chance it may 'face' customers or affiliates. Good luck. :thumbsup

jeez, there are plenty of great open source softwares. Plus there are plenty of free trial versions of expensive software as well. Any good biz minded company will see if the free versions will do the job, if not, then you price out the costlier methods.

I am talking about software that submits a ticket, not rocket science. Get off your "Pay for software" soap box bro, I pay for plenty.
