I'm back from the hospital and doing great!!!
Well the 6 days in the hospital were miserable. The nurses and everything were great, I couldn't have asked for better care but the pain was insane. I couldn't sleep at night. It was horrible. Moving was something I hated to do but I pushed through it. I really have you guys to thank. Everyone that posted about going through the same thing and living a normal life really helped me pull through this with a great attitude. I appreciate every one of you. They opened me up from the front and then from the back so I literally had a hole going through the center of my body. It was tough but I got through it. I am home and I have one of those sexy walkers that old ladies use. It is super hot! :thumbsup
There was a funny moment though. They had me on a drip of Demerol that I would get every 6 minutes. Well on the first day of me getting up to use the bathroom with out the catheter they decided to give me an extra strong oxycodone that has a time release for up to 12 hours. A super duper close friend came to visit me in the hospital and I was just so excited to see them. It made me feel so good, but as I was talking to them I noticed my tongue was acting funny, it felt swollen. So I stuck out my tongue and asked him if my tongue was weird he said no but you are. I have never felt such a bizarre buzz in my life. It was almost as if the meds made my body react to the high before my brain felt the meds. Long story short, I was pretty much flying after that. Getting up to go for the walks in the morning and afternoon was easy with that cocktail. haha Either way they got me through it.
All in all I am so happy I went through with this surgery. I can already tell it has helped a great deal and it has only been 16 days since the surgery. I think I am going to make a full recovery and have very tiny tiny scars. I want to get a tat on my back to cover up the scars there, but everyone calls those tramp stamps so I have to find a way to get a tat back there that doesn't look like every other chick's tat. I think I will spend some time with Jman and come up with a cool design that fits me.
Well I just wanted to let you guys know that I am kicking ass and feeling great, for has much as I can feel great. I still have a lot of pain and have to take it easy for another 3 to 4 weeks but I should be ready to go for the Miami show and boy I cannot wait to get out and feel the world again.
Thank you guys! You always seem to have the right words of support and friendship and I value that a lot.
BTW my Coty Girl is doing great. She is very very protective of me and when the nurse came to the house she was having none of that. She wouldn't let him in the room to look at me. He had to go outside while I got her into the spare room for him to work on me. She loves her Mommie and sleeps right next to me on the bed every night. She knows I am hurt and the guard dog has come out of her since I got home for the hospital. I love her so much and I am so blessed to have her.
On a side note I am working on some great deals with some of our programs at WebQuest so look out for them. I can't wait to get them going. :pimp
