Internet keeps going out plz help
 
anyone ever have this goes out for a split second just enough time to boot me off my aim,icq and dedicated servers. No virus or spyware no idea....

same here last few weeks on and off with Comcast. Just enough to irritate me or knock me off a phone call. Voip phone, not comcasts though.

Could be bad signal strength if you are using cable. My g/f just today had a splitter replaced on the pole and the signal went from -4dB to +4dB. She had the same problem as you, but would go out for longer periods, intermittently.

Yep. Has happened to me before. Normally on my T1, not my cable (I have two internet connections... cable 5M, and T1 data circuit).

I have found that doing one of two things fix it.

1. Remove it from the router, and have it run directly to the PC.
2. Run Spybot to check for malware, and spyware.

One of the two normally fix it.
