I paid $4.19/gallon yesterday and shit myself.

I was born in Norway, before i moved to LA 10 years ago and at one point it was 16+ a gallon.

What's funny is that Norway is one of the biggest oil exporters on Earth... the gas prices are probably mostly tax that goes into their massive social programs. Also, don't forget that although Norwegians pay double for gas, I bet suburban Americans put more than twice as many miles on their cars.

Yep i'm visiting Norway right now and yep its $2.63 a litre here for unleaded, $2.93 for diesel. OUCH!

Costs like $3000 to get a drivers license too so not everyone has even a license here.

Norway is very expensive for certain things. Had a US$7 coffee at a coffee shop today, was a machine made push button coffee that cost $7 holy crap. This place is the most expensive place on the planet. (Oslo rated #1 most expensive city in the world).

Very nice place though.

Couldn't live here for longer than 2 weeks though. Very old feel to everything, looks like it is back in time like 1950. Although there internet access is lighting fast.

The prices here are a joke, and are putting many people out of business.

People seem to think that because our minimum wage is higher that others, we are all loaded and can afford whatever the hell price gas goes up to.

Well i paid £1.20 per litre just two days back so i know we're paying a lot.

It cost £60 to fill up the tank from empty. It used to cost £46 just couple yrs back.
