goog will remove the offending serps from the index, you must state to them that you are the trademark and copyright holder to the file type.

does that work for google indexed forum threads too that are posting links to rapidshare?

I'm starting to notice forums like pornbb alot more often and creeping up the rankings

well, those are a filetype search query.

do some reading on google file type searches and you may be able to locate something that would identify a vb thread maybe.

you can try filetype:php name of query here

and see what happens. if its a forum out of the box, the pages are going to be php pages.

im not sure on that though.
