XP as Vista drove me nuts.
Bought an MacBook last week, and the learning curve is touch, but am going to try and stick it out.

Vista on all machines now. Going back to XP would drive me bonkers.

I tried Vista and was constantly frustrated by the "are you sure you want to do this" alerts. Now I have a dual boot of Ubuntu 8.04 and XP Pro on and I'm perfectly happy.

No Windows 95 option?

I'm on Vista and I love it. Never had any problems with anything except FireFox. You get used to the "are you sure?" stuff. Not really that big o a deal and you can actually turn it off.

it's a tie! Im running Vista! Not loving it, but it is OK!

You know you can turn that off right? Dont tell me you actually installed another OS because of that.

It wasn't just that. I have no problems with XP, and I own a valid copy, so I might as well use it. I couldn't see any benefit to keeping Vista, really.

So because you still had a copy of XP you deleted Vista? That doesnt make much sense as you also obviously had a copy of Vista.

I went with Windows XP 64 and everything seems to work fine. I just have access to more memory

xp light source it can run anything that vista can

XP and I plan to stay that way for as long as possible.

Besides the fancy graphics, Vista has no other feature that XP doesn't.

Now its XP to Vista period.
