I haven't seen Diary yet but I can't wait; I'm a huge zombie genre fan.
So was it more or less gore than the original Dawn of the Dead? To me, gore doesn't neccessrily mean better movie by default.

I didn't like Diary of the Dead and I am a huge zombie genre fan. I love the old Fulci and even Land of the Dead and the Dawn remake. Diary just didn't do anything for me, maybe because I didn't care about the characters.
