Calling Germany from Germany
Alright, I am in Germany trying to call my buddy from a landline phone and it isn't working.
How do I call locally from a German landline to a cell phone? For example, if the number that I call from the States is 011-49-177-000-0000, what numbers would I eliminate/switch around to call? |
49 and the number

Don't listen to BD. :1orglaugh
Are you in the same city? If so remove everything but the last 7. Go up from there ie if in different city use city code (below) 49 = country code 177 = city code 000-0000 = Phone Number |

put a 0 infront of the area code then the number.. in your case 0177 000 0000 |
If the number is 0170 - 333 444 555 then you would call 0049170333444555 if you call from a cell phone.
Landline to landline is just 0170 333 444 555 Landline to cell phone is 0170 333 444 555 |
just going by my friend's biz card
