AFF Converting To Percentage from Pay Per Order

Has AFF done this to any other affiliates here?

They have just converted me to percentage payouts, so for my last order I only received $19.95, instead of the $110 they are advertising.

I am not on the Pay Per Click or anything, so why would they remove my Pay Per Order option?

My traffic quality is more than 20 uniques per free signup, but how should that matter if it is Pay Per Order?

BradM 07-21-2008 09:39 AM

LOL another one who promotes AFF and expects to be treated well.

You're so cute.

TheSenator 07-21-2008 09:39 AM

They probably flagged your accounted and someone made the call to put you into percentage.

dav3 07-21-2008 09:40 AM

Perhaps it's time for a better sponsor.

I didn't realize AFF converted PPS to revshare, I thought it was just pay per click to revshare.

dropped9 07-21-2008 10:04 AM

maybe try email instead of a forum

st0ned 07-21-2008 10:13 AM

Yeah I was not aware of that either, they switched me from PPC to Rev like 3 years ago. At the time I was pissed because it decreased my next few checks, but with the rebills I actually wound up making more than I would have off of PPC.

Penthouse Tony 07-21-2008 10:26 AM

Please contact me so I can look at your account with you.

Nicky 07-21-2008 10:36 AM

Change to Loaded Cash. 1/3 of the payout but 3x better convertion and won't put you on revshare.

Yeah, that is what I thought. So, I was surprised when I logged in to check my stats and my Pay Per Order option was GONE!

halfpint 07-21-2008 05:02 PM

Give LOADED CASH A try

DateDoc 07-21-2008 05:16 PM

PPS to RevShare is a new one for me too. PPC to RevShare is common on poor traffic. Kinda weird they would do that. i guess your paid members are not rebilling.

Stellar 07-21-2008 05:28 PM

Cam sponsors are getting pretty fucking bold when it comes to converting PPS to REVSHARE these days.

Perhaps it's just me but I think once the webmaster (without cheating) gets the sale and has the surfer fill out their billing information, his job is done.

A few years ago my wife and I took a couple of nude shots of each other and then had them on our homepage. The Internet was young and poorly understood and we were certainly in an experimental stage in our relationship. The photos were up there for no longer than two weeks and then we took them down, and never considered posting them again.

About two years ago, my wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness. While recovering from a treatment of severe chemotherapy, she read her email and came across one from an old friend who saw her photos on Adult Friend Finder. The photos my wife and I had taken years ago were being used by Adult Friend Finder to deceptively lure users to their illegal (((REDACTED, no record of this claim, verified by Rip-off Report))) website. I wrote to their customer service people through both email and US postal mail explaining to them what the situation was. I never heard back from them.

Frustrated, I contacted them via phone and, they explained that I I faxed a copy of my wife's license then they would remove our photos from their site. I had a copy of my wife's license made, and faxed it to them. The license photo was taken after she had begun her chemotherapy and she had lost all of her hair including her eyebrows. While on a speakerphone with her, they received the license, looked at our photos on our site, and said to my wife and I ?Yeah buddy, you wish these were pictures o your wife, keep dreaming and stop wasting my time".

Matters got worse when our oldest daughter's ex-boyfriend found our photos on Adult Friend Finder and emailed links to everyone in our neighborhood including our younger daughters. She was devastated. We retained an attorney to for Friend Finder to remove the photos that they had no right to display on their site in the first place. My wife took a turn for the worst and she passed away in August.

I am now conserving money to save or my daughter's college funds. With only having one income now, and not having had proper lie insurance for her (we never thought she would pass on first), I do not feel that I have enough money to pay for a long, drawn out, legal battle.

I hope that Andrew Conru reads this post and has some sympathy for my case. I beg him to please consider removing my wife's photos out o respect for her memory and my children. I am humbly desperate for his mercy in my efforts.

I have no idea why he finds these photos so valuable. I see thousands of photos of couples all over the Internet every day. Why can't he just replace them with someone else's? Why are they doing this to me? Does my family have no rights? Isn't there some law that can protect us?

I have sent Mr. Conru countless emails begging him to please remove my wife's photos and he has never responded. I hate to feel like I am being extorted, but I have even offered him money to take down her photos. I pray that making this post in a public forum such as the RipOffReport will attract some allies in my efforts.

I am looking for nothing more than to have my wife's photos removed. I respect your right to be a(((REDACTED, no record of this claim, verified by Rip-off Report))), a businessman, a capitalist, and whatever else the laws of this great country allow. Please respect my right to protect the memory of my late wife in the minds of her children.

Unless your traffic is just pure shit, you'll make more on revshare

The Judge 07-21-2008 08:42 PM

For tgp and blog traffic that's right. AFF has been around forever and everybody and their dog has already signed up for it that's why the new programs do so much better.

If I found found my dead wifes photos on a site they would have one week to take it down, or I would take the whole site down.

DBS.US 07-21-2008 10:41 PM

From Complaints.com

This site offered a one month trial for $19.90 per month. In August of 2005

I signed up for that trial and when I got my credit card statement there was

a charge for $169.85 without my authorization. I e-mailed them and then

called them several times to have them credit me the difference. I called

countless times and sometimes had to wait on hold as long as 30 minutes to

talk to someone. On top of this, while this charge was in dispute, I was

charged 4 more times for $19.90 over the next 4 months for a total of

$79.60. They finally stopped charging me but have yet to reimburse me for

this outrageous overcharge. In May of 2006 they did offer me a pro-rated

refund of $95.12 but this was only a partial refund and I strongly feel I

should have the entire amount. It is now April 2007 and I still have not

received a refund. Don't use this site as they charge you falsely and are

very uncooperative in solving the oversight.
