should i repair my sony vaio or smash it *office space* style?
 

approx 2 years old-

screen- no light

keyboard- some keys no work, others display wrong char,etc

pointing device- left=right, up = down

battery- no juicy


other than that is kicks asses

we take ours out to the shooting range to "retire" them :)

make sure you dispose of it and especially the battery properly!

if the keyboard is messed up, then retire it. It's more expensive to fix that than to get a new laptop

I had a sony vaio too and turned into a coaster in about 2 years. for the price, they sure do make one big piece of shit computer

flip the screen up and hit it with a golf club :thumbsup

I'm going to have to destroy mine soon. It's a damn shame, 'cause I barely used it and paid 1100 for the piece of shit. Soundcard and keyboard are already fucked :(

For a kickass laptop go to www.ibuypower.com and build one then call them and tell them you want a good deal and they will hook you up.

They build some crazy shit over there and its quality stuff. My laptop is still going strong after a lot of beatings :)
