Instant messaging with mac
 

I'm using aduim but it's fucking up ICQ .. can't seem to ping anyone! ...

gotta find somethign for icq

Also I need to webcam with MSN messenger .. my gf is in europe and msn is all she's got on her laptop .. but Messenger for mac doesn t have webcam capiilities as far as I can tell ..
I loaded Murcury but the audio/sound didn't work .. any ideas???

it's working fine for me. Have you checked all the updates?

I have no troubles w/ Adium, although I did hear that it was doing cracked out stuff to one person on my ICQ list. I wish I coudl use a webcam through it... even Ichat can only use AIM.

iCHAt has video capabilities but not sure if it works with msn. For aim it works fine. I use the regular icq for mac and it works fine. not sure about the msn stuff though. let us know what you come up with

For chat you have to use ichat but it only does video with other ichat clients. Adium has some plugins but I have not gotten them to work properly. I have switched over to skype for video chats ans use adium for all other though it is buggy at times.

grrr .. nope Ichat isn't an option though I did get to work on the Gmail client ..
