pics & story of master pinstriper Steve Kafka striping my harley. [pics&story]
so i'd been planning on getting my bike striped and had stripes on the brain when i was stopped at a light and saw a cool hot rod getting striped in a parking lot. we all pulled over to check it out and lo & behold it was Steve Kafka's place. i had seen a lot of his stuff in my fascination with pinstriping and consider him a legend in the pin striping world
so i asked to super pretty please with everything on top to stripe my trickedout 08 dyna fatbob
so here's Kafka prepping up and my scoot all plain jane flat silver

he 1st slammed on his style of ghost flames. one line that at a glance makes the flames appear to be stamped out of the metal! fuckin hell ya!

also put some killer freehand with a red to match the wheels

while chatting with him he mentioned he's been picked by the von dutch museum to recondition and restripe the *von dutch bus* which he showed me part of the hood from that he was currently restriping. it was classic von dutch- the old school stripe done to look like a hog's head. so i thought, let's get kafka to pay tribute to von dutch on my scoot by doing his version of that hog's face.
so that's what he put on my tail fender.
yessssssssssssssss!!!!1
