McCain - only 1 reporter, 1 photographer show up
The Republicans don't really care about McCain. They've written him off. It's a lost cause. They're thinking longer-term. They WANT Obama in office, to ensure a Condoleeza Rice victory in 2012.

I think they're letting it go on purpose too.

i think a lot of people are getting the same feeling - it's what i see happening
|
If the house of cards falls why on earth would you want your party in charge?

i smell JFK v2.0

If McCain loses I see Romney running again along with Crist probably Huckabee, Thume and Jeb Bush. Which would be interesting to have 2 Govs of Florida both running at the same time. |
Somethings going on. Republicans doing on purpose.

funny todays McCain's newsletter
"McCain Team - It's pretty obvious that the media has a bizarre fascination with Barack Obama. Some may even say it's a love affair. We want you to be the judge. We've compiled two videos of the more outrageous moments of this not so secret love affair. Follow this link to watch the two videos and vote on which one you think is better http://www.johnmccain.com/video/love.htm. Your vote will determine which video we put on the air. The media is in love with Barack Obama. If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny. Regards, The McCain Campaign" |

He was in Buffalo yesterday. The only people that he would talk to were the people that paid 10k a plate for a private fund raising gathering. This area is democratic anyway so I think he conceded to Obama up here.
He was giving the thumbs up to protesters though. Hes a very odd man. Here is the video and small story. http://www.wgrz.com/video/vplayer.aspx?aid=46270 |

And before someone accuses me of being an Obama fan I'm not. I really don't care for either guy. |

I don't think a black woman will become president in 2012.
Imagine, her running against Hillary...what a fucking catfight. I think Nadar or Ron Paul would actually have a chance if that happened. |
Why are you so surprised?
The fact that one reporter & his/her camera person fucked up by going to see McLame, as apposed to the interesting one (Obama) is far from surprising. I am shocked that reporters and such do not make the same mistake of thinking people care about that fucking McShame senior. What I want to know is why have they not forced him to retire. Or, are they merely being polite to the fossil, entertaining his Bush-like intelligence while working out a reasonable retirement package for him. Oh, snap! That's it. THAT'S (sympathy for the elder) why he has a few supporters! That and those down in the YEEHAH south. |

In London, John McCane is cockney rhyming slang for insane, it also can be spelt McCain.
"That bloke's gone John McCane" Ovbiously it's reffering to bruce wllis from die hard but i think we have a new man for the meaning.... |

McCain has a huge uphill battle ahead of him and I think if he doesn't turn things around in the next month or so that his party will all but fully leave him out to dry. They will make the token effort but they will mostly leave him on his own. If he pulls off a miracle, they will be happy. If not they will begin their plan for 2012 the day after the election.

I still cannot believe he had Phil "Enron" Gramm on his team. |
Fuck Obama! Fucking guy is an idiot

In June he spent around 16 million on ads and it got him nothing. He didn't jump in the polls, he didn't move ahead in any states, nothing. Meanwhile Obama is raising tons of money and is spending very little of it. What he is spending on is hiring people for a grass roots campaign and to register new voters. The national polls don't really matter because of the electoral college. Check out http://www.electoral-vote.com/ and you can see what an uphill fight McCain has ahead of him. He is even starting to lose states that are considered Republican stronghold states. He is going to have to spend time and money to defend those states now. Things could change, there is a long time until the election, but he has a big hill to climb and he doesn't seem capable of putting the team together to help him do it. |
It's a ploy. Come convention time he will step down for 'health reasons' and Mitt will take over.
