Ben Bernanke on the Great Depression: "We did it."

http://www.federalreserve.gov/BOARDD...08/default.htm

On Milton Friedman's ninetieth birthday, November 08, 2002, Ben Bernanke stated:

"Let me end my talk by abusing slightly my status as an official representative of the Federal Reserve. I would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. You're right, we did it. We're very sorry. But thanks to you, we won't do it again.

Best wishes for your next ninety years."

Well ya goto keep in Mind that it was MC Cain's chief adviser and President Bushes economic advisor that de-regulated both the mortgage industry and the oil industry.

Ya do not hear the news talking about that so much. But if you look at the the chief Economic Advisor to McCain he is the same guy that was appointed by Bush.

Now look...

We got Mortgage lending problems and oil problems directly caused by the same fucking retard that McCaine wants to consult with for his campaign...

Those two industries were de-regulated by the Bush Administration, and the same guy has his nose up McCain's ass hoping he can continue fucking up the economy.

I forgot the name of that guy but right about now he should be shitting bricks not campaigning with MCCain!

Mortgage lending was opened up to provide more loans to the poor and minorities under the Clinton Adminstration. The zero down, Alt A and Stated Income loans were pushed on the Banks by Clinton and Bush continued it !
