Gas demand is down. No wants to spend $4/gallon for gas even though they'll spend $100 for a gallon of bottled water.....

Oil is at like $125/barrel.. thus the price drops.

3.95 is the lowest here...pretty sad I got excited for that.

Still over $4 in my state. It will only go down till the next holiday comes again..then it slams back up..look out labor day.

Average price here seems to have dropped to around $4.05-$4.10

I don't drive anymore.
There aren't a whole lot of positives to going blind, but one of them is not having to buy gas. In fact, I only take the bus now generally.

Sorry.. I meant to say for premium. Unfortunately I have to fill both cars with it, so I never get to use midgrade. :disgust

Thats pretty much a myth unless its an old car that will knock if you use lower octane fuel and overheat.

Not really worth it for me to test either car's ability to use a lower grade. In the shortrun, using a lower grade of gas might save me a few hundred bucks a year...But the engines in either one would run in the thousands.

I'm sure they'd probably run fine, but why risk it to save a little cash?

That would overflow my tank... When it was empty the other day, I put in $4.00, spilled gas everywhere and then the lady came out to give me - yes - my change...

Do the prices really matter? I mean its only double from what it was years ago. 5-10-15 a gallon, who cares. Its still cheap.

it was $3.99 here in Phoenix when i filled up tonight.. That is down eight cents from last week.. would be great if it went down to $3.50 or less but I'm sure that won't happen

I saw $3.80 on my way to work today.
