Which reminds me, I haven't listened to "Damn the Torpedoes" in awhile... ADG |
That's the way modern torpedoes are designed to work. Instead of slamming into the side of the ship, they explode underneath it as close to the middle as possible. The explosion itself breaks the back of the ship with upward force, then the ship falls back into a "hole" in the water created by the cavitation effect of the explosion.
Ain't technology grand :thumbsup |
That was a back breaker!
|
Wonder how long it took to sink.
|
god damn, that is destruction
|
Wow crazy!
Then again I am wondering isn't this polluting the oceans? |

That cartoonist really missed a great opportunity too. He/she should have had that "Mission Accomplished" banner on that sinking ship lol |
that's pretty crazy.. i wonder what technology their using for the torpedos
|
So anyone on a navy boat, could be killed with one torpedo.
I guess thier is no point in makeing big ships anymore, if all it takes is one little torpedo to sink them. |
