Investigators hunting the sniper blamed for 10 killings in the Washington area have identified two men they want to talk to, one of whom may have previously served in the U.S. Army, federal government officials said on Wednesday.

Television networks quoted law enforcement sources as naming the men as John Allen Williams, also known as Mohammed Williams, and John Lee Malvo.

Doubtful.

Do the police hold press conferences saying: "We now know who you are, we are closing in, you now have a head start: make for Mexico."

If this Mohammed/Williams guy turns out to NOT be involved in the sniper attacks I think he needs to get a really damn good lawyer and sue someone. Chief Moose comes on and tells people this guy is wanted on a Federal warrant, is considered Armed & Dangerous but is NOT a suspect in the case? WTF? Every cop in the country is going to be looking for this guy and the car he is driving. What if some Rambo vigilante spots him first and tries to run him off the road and kills him and the 17 year old he is possibly with? If I was that guy I would be scared shitless to talk to anyone with a gun.

This situation is quickly becoming a joke. The authorities involved had better hope they haven't make some really stupid decisions because you know that once this is over their actions are going to be heavily scrutinized. They say they trust the public but they refuse to give shit for info. They tell the guy to write them at a post office box? WTF? In a situation like this you would think snail mail would be the last option they would offer.

Something tells me this is going to get messy for everyone involved. Still trying to decide if the Feds taking over the investigation would be a good or bad thing.

It seems that the guys in Tacoma may have sold the gun to the snipper, and/or was invovled in a hold up in Alabama of a liquore store with the clerk being killed. In that robbery on Sept 22 this year there was a credit card stolen.

It now seems that this guy has been using the card on the Belt Way. It's also the card that the snipper wanted the 10 million to be deposited in.
