I get that popup as well, on both my laptop and my office computer!

Here's an email reply I got from the host of that site...

Quote:

You installed a shareware program on your computer, something like napster, bearshare or an mp3 downloader.

That's why you have the popup loader.

Please next time you install one of those mp3 downloader's or any of those programs on your computer, read the terms/condition page carefully.

REMOVE PROCESS -

Select "Start" and then "Run" and type "regedit".

Find the and delete the entry

named"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Window s\CurrentVersion\Explorer\

Browser Helper Objects\ {00000000-5eb9-11d5-9d45-009027c14662}"

delete the {00000000-5eb9-11d5-9d45-009027c14662} entry.

Reboot computer.

Search your "C" drive for tps108.dll.

Delete tps108

Subject: Have you installed a virus on my computer?

I seem to have a problem, the following page is popping up repeatedly while I surf the net:
http://www.z69.com/popups/newpopups/...20/index4.html

Even while I'm browsing non adult sites I get this popup.

I realise that you are a free host, so maybe its not your fault, but one of your clients.

But from my point of view it looks like there's a virus on my computer popping this url up as I surf.

Can you shed any more light on this?

Thanks

Paul Corrigan

And here's another reply I got from the same email...

The pop-up is coming from a spywares program.

If you install anything (free and with banners adds) on your computer please read the disclaimers

Just go to www.tucows.com and get an add remove program.

Thank you
Looks like it was my fault...:321GFY
