Bennigans restaurants are closed down...
 

Not too many places are open at 2 AM when I'm out wandering the streets, so that sucks that one of them is closing up shop today. Don't know if they are nationwide or not, but they have them all over Florida.

Not a big fan of Bennigan's!! But living in Florida...Friday's is still around all over and they're open until 2am...and the foods much better!! It does suck though when a place you like and go to all the time closes. Time to find another "cheers"!!!

That Christian Cook guy they quote in the article... He was a manager at a Bennigan's in Ft. Worth, TX I worked at for a while just after I graduated high school.

He was a total asshole to everyone, I mean truly above and beyond the typical asshole manager attitude, and a little off his rocker too. He was also racist. Despite this, he eventually accused ME of being a racist out of nowhere one morning when I arrived for a shift, and when I pretty much told him he was insane and got in his face a bit, he, predictably, fired me. I was pretty enraged because I HATE racist assholes, and here I was being accused BY one of BEING one. I got to have one of those moments in life where you tell your asshole boss exactly how much everyone hates them. It felt good.

But not as good as knowing that years later, that loser still works at Bennigan's. LOL.

They were ok. Nothing special.

I saw they were seeking chapter 11 but did not know they were closing the stores as well.

Will be strange to see them disappear. I was hostess at Bennigans when I was 15.

That about sums it up.

BTW, has anybody even had one of those "DEEP FRIED" sandwiches? Better known as the Monte Cristo. I never could muster up enough guts to order one.:helpme
