How good is 50% lifetime revshare on a cam program?

Discuss, how good is it? What do you think is needed for Cam sponsors to offer that?

From an affiliate POV, 50% would be fucking awesome... Just as long as there are a bunch of hosts constantly online to retain the customer.

pornguy 07-29-2008 11:44 AM

Its not bad. You can make an ass load of money that way.

PPS is good on cam's if you can niche twist it. Revshare is always going to be the better money maker though, especially 50% revshare ;)

Aren't the cam guys also doing revshare with the models too? There goes a big chunk of webcam time purchases. It's not like paysites that don't have a direct cost per sale.

50% would be great for cam revshare, unfortunately the numbers just don't add up to any cam program being able to offer that and sustain profitability. When you factor in studio/model payouts, processing, overhead, there isn't enough left to pay 50% and keep your profit margins high enough to sustain the program.

There might be.

Exactly. You'd have to pay the studios/performers at least 30% (and you'd have a tough time convincing them to sign up/stay unless you have a very strong customer base). I'm sure you'd find the 20% left doesn't go very far.

50% life time revenue share is a damn good idea if it happens...
