Anyone else can't make any Calls? (CELLPHONE) ?
 

can't make any calls out with my iphone, AT&T .... i have like no reception and call failed

cell phones down, land lines are up...

Yeah... cell service is clogged.

Nice to know if there's ever a REAL emergency our phone service is screwed. :mad:

MSNBC said that some landlines are down and cells are being jammed with people calling wiht "i heard there was an earthquake... are all the celebrities ok???"

I used to manage a call center for Pacific Bell, which was the local telephone company for California. It was a 411 / directory assistance call center outside of San Fran. Any time SoCal had an earthquake our call center got swamped with calls and we were 400 miles away.

I admit the first thing we tried to do was call family in SoCal and was unable to get through. This is to be expected.
