In middle eastern countries they are, but you always see everyone bitching about it on here how they are always killing criminals. Good idea i say, if anyone kills anyone or rapes, put them to death, not only would it get rid of the criminal but it would lower the rate of the crimes since people would not take the chance.

If someone killed or raped a close relative of mine, i would kill them. So put that shit into the law is what i say, it isn't justice if they are put in a cell, the closest justice is if they suffer the same fate of those they victimized.

My heart goes out to the women that were traumatized. I hope they are able to recover both mentally and physically. Its so sad that they were their to help the community and make a difference and they were brutally assaulted.

A fair amount of people in general are worthless scum. That goes for every race, every country.

The problem with most of Africa is that for exceedingly poor countries, it's much harder to control the scum than it is for richer countries. Worse yet, lack of education, poverty and bad living conditions breed more scum.

There are plenty of people in Africa who aren't scum, though. You can't blame those for the actions of others.

You go help in africa if you love those people so much. I'm sure they'd like a young, naive girl over there.

I think it's sad period - but then again... WTF were they thinking "helping" a country where this is the norm. I think if they were properly educated as to the risks before going there, i'm sure the charity would have a lot more issues trying to recruit volunteers, so I think what happened is terrible, no disputing that fact, BUT you can't fucking tell me they told these girls that they wouldn't be completely safe.
