IBILL keeping your money if you don't register?
Ibill sent out this, And Ive asked about 5 times for the form with no reciept.
Dear iBill Client, Last week you should have received your iBill-Visa registration announcement. All clients are required to complete this registration process by Visa and our acquirer. Per the announcement, registration is to be complete by Wednesday, October 23rd. Failure to complete the registration process will result in your account being placed on do not pay. ------------------------------ Basically the way I read that is IBILL is keeping your money as a reserve if you don't sign up with VISA. Anyone have any info you would like to share? Am I wrong? |
that's not what i've heard. i've been told that if i did not want to continue processing with ibill past Nov 15th, that I will still be paid for all signups and recurs up to Nov 15th. and that my reserve would be paid out as usual past that date.

Continue hoping.... All the BEAST PAY-SITES OWERS have been screwed up by IBILL, CCBILL and PAYPAL... 6 months ago when VISA stopped processing for beast sites  Pending money, Rebills and Holdbacks.... all GONE to their personal accounts :321GFY I guess they needed our money to pay the school of their kids :1orglaugh |
i got that same shit i only use them for shopping cart does anyone have an alternative to this soluction.

CCbill has claimed they will continue to pay for everything processed up to the November 15th deadline - irregardless of the clients decision to register with them or not.
IBill should do the same or they should go out of business. These are rough times for many webmasters and the IPSPS. The IPSPS are going to be fighting for our business since it will be a $1750 decision the webmaster makes when deciding who gets to process their VISA & Mastercard transactions. It doesn't seem like the best time to steal the last couple payments from your clients. Someone get an Ibill Rep on here to comment? |

So use Ibill at 15% or Paypal at 3-4%??? I actually use Paypal on one site and another processor located in Canada that made an"exception" since they normally do not take adult. In case a smart ass questions the above, here is an email from the great Ibill cie: Quote of message Pierre, I can understand that you are not happy with all of the new visa regulations, let me assure you that this is not pertaining to the catalog that you are offering your clients. There is no charge for tangible items that are going to be billed and shipped on the internet. If you are going abroad, where are you going? We have relationships everywhere and can assist you in setting up an account. Let me ask you this, do you have an address in the European Union that you can use as your company address?? If so then we can bill for you. Do you have an address in the US? We can bill for you. If you have neither, we can bill for you. If you would like to set up with us for your subscription site with us I would be more than willing to see that through personally.....If you want to set you catalog up, I would do the same.....All of the items I mentioned to you about, will cost you nothing! Let me help you..............if you are still not happy with what I have described to you, please ignore this email and I am sorry for bothering you. I wish you luck and much success in all your business ventures! Cheers! -Dan ======\ BTW and FYI, I told them to make a big ball with all their bice words and shove it as deep as they could up their ass..... |

Looks like they can bill for you wherever you are.... Ibill paying you though, wherever you are, thats another thing entirely... :feels-hot |
We spoke to our lawyers today. If iBill fail to pay us for the October period then we shall be commencing action against them in the US.
iBill would be playing a very dangerous game if they decided to unlawfully withold payment from any client. Our advice is that if they did not pay, and the client suffered loss as a result of their failure to pay (ie: web hosting disconnected or inability to meet commitments due to reliance on such payments), then they would also be liable for damages in excess of the amount owed. Interesting times indeed. |
This is what I will do if IBILL dick me:
Step 1. Get your final payment. Step 2. Go into your merchant account, and manually refund every member. Then go to your .htaccess logs, delete them all. Step 3. Spam all your old members with "www.ibillcs.com has been stealing 39.95 every month from your bank account.. simply call your bank, tell them these charges are unauthorized, and let them do the rest." |
I just got the same email from IBILL and I dont even own a paysite, Do affiliates have to register aswell?
|
I just got this letter in my email to one of my TGP's.
I don't use them to process anything (sure they email me telling me that I need to switch to them). So why send this email out to affilates? They can't seriously expect affilates to pay Visa fees for every sponsor they promote? If so, no one will be promoting Ibill sponsors much longer. :winkwink: |
heres an interesting twist...
I have a merchant a/c through authorize.net that handles all my non-adult activities .. i got the visa/mastercard email yesterday saying if a US presence is not established they would can my merchant a/c fuck you visa :BangBang: :BangBang: :BangBang: :BangBang: |

Got same email.
"Do affiliates have to register aswell?" Can't be true ...or? It would be really nice to get the answer. |

Corvett, Markusborger obviously fell under the group of flagged beasty accounts that CCbill did not pay, rather than the group of flagged beasty accounts < $x that CCbill did continue to pay (damage control). |
