lol, btw stuartd thats a good idea, do you have any ideas how many downloads youve had, are others using it on other forums?

If every webmaster would do this we would finally get rid of those annoying contests as sponsors will finally find out theyre funding surfers and annoy the webmasters.

Just as well it said "FfVb" in the image otherwise I wouldn't have been able to quickly research it.

Yeah, it's been turning up on a lot of other forums actually.
Some of which I've joined to talk about it with them and add or modify features at their request.

It's had a few thousand downloads so far from my site, and 373 recorded on the firefox add-ons site.

I like it a lot. Wish there wasn't the little pause sometimes where I can see threads and posts by people like Eriic. :1orglaugh

That's pretty cool...the funniest thing though is seeing "Woot Woot" in that list :1orglaugh

Yeah, I really wish there was a way around that. I'm still investigating it.

However, since Firefox extensions are mostly just Javascript, it's loads once the entire page has finished downloading... from <html> to </html> so that it can traverse the entire thing like a flow chart.

If it's not complete, it can't find anything and thus, won't remove the threads.

What we end up with is a glimpse of the threads for a short time, especially if the board is loading slow :(
