Shagbunny 08-02-2008 10:49 PM

tony286 08-02-2008 11:22 PM

That looks very painful.

D Ghost 08-02-2008 11:27 PM

typical bs

rayadp05 08-02-2008 11:30 PM

That shit is totally out of control.

mattz 08-02-2008 11:33 PM

wow, ouch!

mattz 08-02-2008 11:34 PM

The thing is, they probably got away with this also, sad.

dav3 08-03-2008 12:23 AM

Damn is right.

When they say "give me your hand", you do it. You don't resist, or you feel the wrath of the 'homeland security'.

C_U_Next_Tuesday 08-03-2008 12:39 AM

I dont know why people resist arrest so much and then whine when the cop has to beat the fuck out of them to make them finally put their hands behind their back.

I personally know many a person that had their ass handed to them by the police and all would have been avoided if they would have just complied when they got busted.

I hate the police, but I sure as hell am not going to give them reason to kick my ass if I am ever arrested.

CyberHustler 08-03-2008 12:57 AM

Thats' the NYPD... That guy got off easy! :2 cents:

So by just not giving the cops your hands, that gives them the authority to beat the fuck out of you! I think not.

It is called resisting arrest, and yeah, at that point they can pretty much do what they want.

xmas13 08-03-2008 07:06 AM

NYPD cops risk their lives everyday, go fuck yourself.

Ross 08-03-2008 07:15 AM

Those cunts don't deserver to be police officers. Thats out of order. I seriously hope they lose their jobs over that.

Malicious Biz 08-03-2008 07:33 AM

How did you arrive at that conclusion? You have no idea what happened prior to the video starting.

He is not subdued until he is in cuffs. I suggest you get your eyes checked. There are two cops, one attempting to cuff a resisting suspect, and the other attempting to assist. The third cop is not just walking around, he is staying out of the way.

There are not 3-4 cops walking around until after he has been cuffed and at that point no one is being hit.

421Fill 08-03-2008 10:59 AM

he is clearly resisting arrest in the beginning of the video. why is it so fucking difficult for people to understand that when an officer tells you to put your hands behind your back, you just fucking do it?

Lykos 08-03-2008 11:02 AM

damn,thats bad

brassmonkey 08-03-2008 11:03 AM

Once you don't comply with an officers command it is resisting arrest.

The officer can within reason beat the living crap out of you until you comply.

that's not the point is it. it's not their job to dish out punishment, that's what judges are for. they're only allowed to use reasonable force and in this case that was way over the top. i hope they get sent to jail and buttfucked in the showers every day.

What do you think is "reasonable force?" it is apparent that reasonable force was not adequate as the guy was resisting prior to getting hit, and continued to resist even while being struck.

You might notice that once he was cuffed, he stopped getting hit.

Pavlov's dogs were smarter than that guy.

jakethedog 08-03-2008 11:39 AM

fuck... shut up .. get on your stomach and put your fucking hands behind your back and get cuffed .. DUH .. the cops are 100% in the right

LOL.. if the cop that hit this guy was white, everyone would be up in arms... since its black on black, its all good...

i dont think force was needed in this case, just some more patience on the cops part...

black cop beating up black thug. not much room for bitching about racism.

yys 08-03-2008 01:08 PM

Having had the shit kicked out of me a few years ago by some cops and the daily strip searches for drugs when I was a teen I'm no fan; I've actually got a good old hate on for some of them. Some of them are the dirtiest criminal motherfuckers around. That said I would like to know what happened before the camera started rolling?

I'd also like point out that when a cop is hitting you with their baton and telling you to do something you do it, no questions asked, or you run the risk of having the shit beat out of you until you do comply. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

klaze 08-03-2008 01:24 PM

Yahh I really don't believe that hurting or terrifying someone is the proper way to detain them.

It just shows cops are poorly trained and or weak.

3 on 1 and the only way they could get him cuffed and in the back of a car was beating the shit out of him with a baton?

sorry no that's not ok.

Yah the guy didn't turn over.. so what? the cop couldn't sit on him for another 5 minutes? The dude was already down on the ground..

he didn't have a knife or a gun he wasn't in a position to really hurt anyone..

definately not right..

salesman 08-03-2008 01:34 PM

what's up ? they did the right thing.

Yeah since you know EXACTLY what happened.

You see a clip of a video that started WELL after the first point of contact with the subject and you already know that its out of control.

Pretty apparent you have never had to subdue someone that was going to be arrested. I have in the military on several occasions. Fear can make someone VERY fucking strong. That guy had to do one thing to avoid what happened, and that was to put his hands behind his back like he was being told by the police.

Miss Munki 08-03-2008 04:47 PM

In today's day in age NYPD can't think of anything better then a fucking stick??? Batons seem so barbaric. Silly me, I just assumed trained professionals have more humane methods that do not seriously injure people.:(

That's some traumatic shit for everyone who viewed the incident, along with everyone who will view it on the net.

You have no idea what he did or did not have or what he did to get himself put in that situation.

You're right, they should have tazed him. You and I obviously have different definitions of serious injury.

lol, you're right too. To me, a serious injury requires going to the doctor, and who knows who the hell covers the bill in that situation (probably the victim after court, but perhaps tax payers).

I am glad that he did not inflict fatal injuries by breaking his head instead of his leg...but yeah, tazing would have been more appropriote and less physically/ monetarily costly.

Vick! 08-03-2008 09:40 PM

Send that darkie in uniform back to South Africa .. :winkwink:

jk .. I don't know what exactly happened, but this looks so brutal.

Adam_M 08-03-2008 09:46 PM

Give the man your arm and be done with it!!!!

kane 08-03-2008 10:42 PM

They should have just tased that guy. If they didn't have Tasers I think there may have been a better way to do this. Of course we don't see what happened before all this. For all we know he was armed before and threatening them and he could have been a danger to others. I have a lot of friends that are cops and I actually work with them playing the bad guy in their training. Something I learned doing that is when you take a stick and start beating someone with it, their brains shut off and instinct takes over and you try to pull your legs up to protect your chest. You may want to comply, but you are in pain and your body is in self defense mode. Beating someone like that really never ends well because once you start hitting them it is nearly impossible for them to comply until you beat them into oblivion.

The cop turned it into a cluster fuck right from the start. One cop is pushing him one way and they other is pushing him the other. It looks like if the guy on the left (not the one that did the hitting) pulled him towards him and the other guy put a knee in his back they would have had him face down and been on top of him in no time.

Of course I say all this sitting at my computer and not being there. Being a cop is a tough job. This guy may have done nothing but good in his career, but now this will follow him around like an albatross.

The only thing that is now going to be fact, regardless of what happened before the tape started to roll is that the police will be sued, that video will be broadcast and any relationship the police have with communities that already don't trust them will be further strained.

kane 08-03-2008 10:52 PM

Here is some info on the video
http://www.nypost.com/seven/07292008...eye_122136.htm

It seems like the police were working a special detail and they encountered the guy. They say he was drunk, swung an umbrella at them and then he started punching them so they took him down. The guy says he was at a party, wasn't drunk and went outside to get some ice where he encountered the cops and they told him he couldn't go back inside because he was drunk. When he told them he wasn't drunk they attacked him.

The truth, as per usual, is probably somewhere in the middle.
