The Atlanta Forum - BIG REMINDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't do something I always do!
DON'T MISS THE SEMINARS!!!!!!! I normally sleep through all the seminars because I always looked at them like dog and pony shows. I never understood why some blowhard from the industry would tell me how to make more money. I wouldn't tell him, so why would he tell me something honest? So, I always skipped them. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW! The industry is in change and the focus is switched to actually being a business, being productive, managing your time, and turning a profit with your resources. The easy money is gone. We have to learn how to maximize what we have, including ourselves. This doesn't mean someone is gonna tell you how to convert sites, to me it looks like these seminars will help you more as a person and a business owner. I have been to several seminars for sales, marketing, and self help in my lifetime, and these look like they are gonna be pretty good. Oh, and you haven't registered yet, hurry up! :) :kisses |
I was very impressed with the lineup of seminars. These are must attend for serious business owners and it’s the type of advice you could normally only get if you went to real fortune 500 type business seminars.

lets Hitch up the reindeers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I agree. Im not going to the atlanta, but I will be in Amsterdam...
TBH, Id probably be kinda redundant at the networking power hours, but Im looking forward to the seminars ! |

they needs a seminar on attacking that free food thingy.
|
Even though I won't be able to attend, I wish I could get a copy of those seminars. They sound AWESOME. There are a lot of people in this industry where this is their first "real job" in management, real business, etc. and most industries offer classes such as these seminars. Finally someone is addressing that fact. Kudos, T :)

Fer sure guys - people get super excited abt seminars. :-)
Tony is putting together some stellar mainstream talent for something out of the ordinary. |

People like Albert from Silvercash, Harmik from Epoch, Morgan from Cybersocket etc consistently share "secrets" and genuinely care about teaching and mentoring. They keep self promotion to a minimum and are always willing to share their knowledge. Personally, I learned almost all I know about billing, affiliate model, etc from Albert who I would consider my mentor on the Online side of he business. I know you are promoting a show, but dont do so on by lessening the contributions of some very generous individuals who consistently share their expertise at other shows. Every time I go into a seminar room, whether at XBIZ, INTERNEXT, PHOENIX or WEBMASTER ACCESS I learn something new and meet people that I can do business with. See ya in Atlanta!!!!!! |
Yep, I hear from pretty high up the seminars and speakers will be memorable :)

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh You're lucky Sweet T won't like the response I planned and deleted it. Someone send Chris on vacation, he's taking things way too serious. See you Internext promotion time. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
Chrisss come on ... i wont even get into it cause Ii aint in the mood for a full scale cross show war again
|
I can't speak for everyone, but for those of us with recurring involvement in trade shows, most of the events are not presented as profit vehicles. I would guess that 90% of the annual events are staged as investments in networking and future business, and after the hosts calculate the all-in, the ROI is in relationship-building and expectation of future business. Most of the hosts have the goal of breaking even on the event itself; whatever the size of the event.
A first annual show at this point has just that one opportunity to succeed. I hope the Atlanta Forum organizers present a stellar new event that breaks new ground and raises the bar once again for all the others... |
will you have nachos?
