Is it possible to tune-up Vista like XP with "classic" look and features?

I'm hating every second of this Microsoft Vista crap. So slow. Is there way to tune it up?

Yes, but it still won't run like XP. If you're hating it now..... you won't like it any better in a year or so. I finally gave up (after a year or so) and just reinstalled XP on my Vista laptop. Never been happier.

Yes, you can disable basically anything.

I like Vista...Sure its a little slower but its easy...

For me its like a Windows Mac combo

You can turn a lot of it off, and make it act much more like "Windows Classic", but it's still slow as hell - get a copy of nLite and slipstream your SATA drivers onto an old XP disc. You'll be happier.
