Guitar Dudes...Inside.
I'm a drummer, but definetely dabble in guitar. Been fucking around for awhile on a squier tele (lol, I know) but looking to get a fender jaguar...but before I drop $1500 bucks on one, was thinking of getting a knock-off to see if I like it.
What's the general concensus on Jay Turser stuff? Turser jaguar knock-offs, at $250-300, are tempting as fuck. |
I've never messed with Jaguar knockoffs, but if you want a really nice, good playing guitar then you can go wrong with a high-end Epiphone. Stay away from the cheap ones though.
Another really good playing guitar that doesnt cost a fortune, is the Schecter C1. Whatever you get, getting it setup by a professional makes all the difference in the world and is well worth the $40 - $75 that it costs. Even a brand new guitar needs to be properly setup, the factories dont do it right, not even on my $2800 Gibson Les Paul. Hanging on my wall I have: 1st Edition Gibson Les Paul Robot Epiphone "Slash Signature" Les Paul Schecter C1 Hellraiser FR Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul ESP Custom, formerly owned by Jake E Lee I really couldnt pick a favorite out of any of them. |
You could be like me, take a squire and put in the nice ass pickups and bridge :thumbsup
made it when i was 12 been using it since then. sounds like a 2000 dollar guitar. and spent no more then 500 on it :thumbsup |
Thanks guys, yeah those pickups in the squier right now are the shittiest thing in the world.
