Australia Has 157 Gold Medals At The Olympics !
According to our local news service, based on a per capita on what Australia has already won in Gold Medals, adjusted to per capita performance of other countries, Australia leads the Gold Medal tally with 157 Golds.
I.E. On performance, if we were the population size of China, on our present performance, we would have won 157 golds. Not bad for a big dry island started with convicts a mere 200-odd years ago. :2 cents::winkwink: |
Australia sucks. no amount of greasey Chinese medals will ever change that fact.

Not bad for a bunch of lazy poms, especially when you look at how serious you Aussies take sport compared to us :winkwink: Although thanks for all the coaches etc they seemed to have done the motherland well :1orglaugh |

LOL, I love when small countries do those "twist" stats, Canadian media loves to do that as well. But it's not really true at all, you have to base it on the amount of athletes sent, as well as its impossible to win 157 golds (I dont think 157 gold's have been handed out yet in total).
