Evidence that we don't have to pay Federal Income Tax?

http://www.albertastars.com/gallerie...merican-union/

see it at 1:24:00

"No law in existence that requires to pay this tax"

Man - "I really expected that of course there's a law that you can point to in the law book that requires you to file a tax return, of course there is..."

"I could find it... at least it didn't apply to me... and most people I know, so I resigned."

Woman - "based on the research that I did throughout the year 2000 and that I'm still doing, I had not found that law. We asked congress, IRS, they can't answer, because if they answer American people are gonna know that this whole thing is a fraud!!"

Man - "I haven't filed a federal tax return since I left."

Woman - "I have not filed a tax return since 1999"

Narrator "Income tax is nothing less than the enslavement of the entire country... "

Etc. Etc.

So... what is this all about, and what about Canada, do we have to pay it...

BV 08-24-2008 03:08 AM

Don't pay it and let us know what happens ;-)

pocketkangaroo 08-24-2008 03:11 AM

All that shit has been debunked. There are laws and a constitutional amendment that allows it. Just loons grasping at straws.

fatfoo 08-24-2008 03:12 AM

lol......hmm

These two morons haven't opened up a basic book on taxes. It's title 26 of the US code. There is a ton of shit that covers individual income taxes. Here is the one on individuals:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/26/1.html

Send them a link to that and perhaps to a basic economics book.

i don't get how idiots can rationalize not having to pay taxes. i mean how fucking retarded does one have to be to spend all their time reading someones moronic ranting and accept it as gospel without ever thinking once to just go read any case law... or even wikipedia for that matter.

if you hate authority to the point that you are willing to commit suicide for the cause... then man up, buy a pistol and put a bullet in your head. or whatever man... jump off a building into a busy street... or be the first guy to open the door of a commercial jet and jump out or something... but spending your time trying to prove on paper and argue that fire can't burn you is pretty dumb when all you need is a match and 1.00 of gasoline to know for sure.

What happened was the courts ruled in favor of the IRS, yet no proof was EVER shown as to why we do have to pay income tax. It's not grasping at straws.

Doesn't matter. Get creative and you can legally play their little game without paying through the nose.

The painful fact is, that no matter if they are right or wrong, no court will EVER rule in their favor. Not gonna happen. You can not beat the IRS.

However, you can play the game and pay them much less once you fully understand the rules that they created. :2 cents:

I hear Federal Prison isn't too bad at the minimum and medium levels. Let us know your review when you get back!

of course i agree with you to an extent. the IRS tends to go after slam dunk cases anyway.. they don't prosecute cases they might lose because the potential cost is too high.

but its also not a question of "right or wrong" - these things have been through the courts endless times. its black and white. saying "federal income taxes are illegal" is factually wrong. disagreeing with them for whatever reason, is another thing.

i bought my first car at 15 from a guy who also had it all figured out that taxes were illegal. i got it for very cheap. :)

and your right... people pay WAY too much in taxes because they don't do anything to minimize their tax burden. thats the biggest irony of taxes... the poorest, dumbest people pay the largest % of their income.

marketsmart 08-24-2008 08:31 AM

we should just have a national sales tax and do away with income tax all together..

I can't recall all the details but very recently one of the most prominent advocates and an author of several books on this subject was sentenced to a fairly long prison term for guess what?

Tax evasion

Read the tax code people, you find where it says a "person" has to pay tax, and then let me know about it.

You can legally get out of paying federal income tax in this country as a person (not a corp). And they will never come after you and if they did they will never win. It has been proven, done, and tested 1000's of times.

Don't be such mindless sheep.

Never watched this, but you do realize that modern fighter planes can't be flown without computer input, right? They're fly by wire.

I can't say anything about the Canadian penal system, but I know you're young meat. Every prison system loves young meat.

Of course they did, it's a law. It's like trying to argue that you can murder someone. All you have to do is point to the U.S. code and say here it is.

As for why, no law really has a definition of why. It doesn't say why murder or rape is bad. That still doesn't make it right to commit both of those.

I don't think that's true at all. The bottom 40% of income earners pay nothing in income taxes. The top 1% pays 40% of all taxes, the top 5% pays 60% of all taxes. The bottom 50% of the country pays 3%, with an average tax rate of 3%.

The poorest don't pay anything in this country.

I said they pay a higher % of their income... not a higher % of total income taxes paid to the government.

But they really don't. The bottom 50% pay in a tax rate of 3%.

I think the argument might hold true for the middle to middle-upper class, but not for the poorest in this country.

TheDoc 08-24-2008 02:05 PM

BTW, it's called being a Natural Person.

In short, pay your taxes. The Gov/Courts can do what they want, they do not have to follow the law or rules. If you go this direction, and you slip up once, they can nail your ass. But it is true, a person doesn't have to pay fed income tax, corporations do, corps must!

But again, they can do wtf they want, when they want, how they want. Pay your damn taxes.

You are getting a person having to pay tax and reporting tax, confused. As a person, I do not have to earn income defined in the tax codes, which is where a natural person comes into play. The tax code defines a person/individual as a corporation, and every corporation has to file taxes.

As one very simple example, if you give me a gift for $1000 it's not taxable but I just earned an income. Gifting programs are rather popular, tax free and proven to be legal many times over.

Don't confuse not having to report tax with just giving up, not filing, and walking away. It's hellish work, you will always have to pay some tax, and it takes some serious understanding of what's going on to not screw it all up.
