Long time since I have been this excited - 3 of my dream concerts coming up! (PICS)

Firstly

20.9.

Iggy Pop and The Stooges!

The GODfather, the man who almost ALWAYS delivered great stuff no matter if it was Stooges or solo (let's skip early 80's), the man who ALWAYS delivered EXCELLENT live performance! Seen him on video Lorelei 1996 and it kicked major ass!

I've read his book, I am a big fan of him as a songwriter and there used to be times where I was close to his lifestyle.

Then:

17.11.

SLAYER

I never thought I'll really appreciate a trash metal band again after I've heard all that different genres over the years but yes, I am a great admirer of Slayer nowadays and it's not longer than a year that I do listen to their stuff time from time (thanks to xxxjay for broadening my heavy metal horizons).

I regard them as the most intense and at the same time one of the most original / skills wealthiest / uncompromising bands around, got some of their DVD's but as everyone who is into Slayer says - nothing compares to beeing there.

2.12

ALICE COOPER

Goddamn I could be going for hours how underrated this guy is!

He created a style and cult on his own in the first half of the 70's, then nearly died on a long alcoholic hiatus to come back in 89 beeing recognized as THE inspiration to so many bands.

Yet this was far from the end - he recorded some EXCELLENT albums through the 90's and 00's that would deserve a LOT of respect and truly show what a great songwriter he is! There is very few people that can make a simple song sound so real and powerful.

I don't care if his voice will not be in the best shape I just GOTTA see this!

You know how I know your old?

All 3 are great live acts.

The only thing you need to keep in mind is Alice doesn't give the same level to his performance as he used to... but it's still Alice and the song list is still great.

Slayer is just as heavy and powerful as they always have been.

And seeing IggyPop was just a dream come true for me. He's a living legend and give a very powerful show.

Conclusion: you can't go wrong with any of those acts.
