Losing weight again, who's with me??!?!
After attending QWEBec Expo I have decided to get back off my ass and get serious about working out again.
At one time, I dropped 152lbs - some of you may remember the old threads. Lazyness, stress and lack of proper planning kept me away from the gym and my mountain bike over the last 6-8 months causing me to gain 45-lbs or so back. It's so much easier to gain weight when you were big before. I got into old habits again. Fuck that, this is my notice - I'm dropping again. I'm 268 right now. I made a deal with Scooter, who is down to 277lbs. By January at Internext I will pay him $10 for every lb he is below me. He's droping BIG weight and will probably lose another 40-60lbs by then, so I have my work cut out for me. Anyone want to join me in a Webmaster weight loss challenge? If there is enough interest, PimpMansion can probably sponsor a contest with $$$ and prize giveaways... So who's with me? |

I was working out 3 times a week up until my dreaded eye surgery. I just got my ok to work out again and get a damn cold. But I am going back as soon as I can

I'm so disappointed - I used to be able to work out and eat what I wanted. As the years have progressed, that apparently no longer works:( I started with a personal trainer 2 times a week 3 weeks ago (upping it to 3 times a week starting next week) and so far, nothing to show for it except laying down in the aquamassage so I that I can walk and raise my arms afterwards :(
I've started taking Slimfasts to the store since it's either that or order pizza - no restaurant I can get to and back in a short period of time and I'm too lazy to make anything before I leave. But then I come home and eat like a freaking Hoover. Per my trainer, I need AT LEAST 200 minutes of cardio per week in addition to the work outs - I get about 40. PLUS I'm looking at more stomach surgery that will put me in the "lay on the sofa doing nothing" mode for a few weeks. I'm postponing that as long as possible. And with the stomach issues I can't eat raw veggies so that makes things even harder. His instructions to me were "Forget about everything you learned - you need to stick to pasta, rice, potatoes and bread". FUCK ME!! :( :( :( To make this long story short ;) put me down for the "Losing weight" contest. I don't even need a prize - the scale and smaller clothes will be enough :) |

I started this after I got back from Internext a few weeks ago. I am down 6 lbs and 3% body fat. I am not heavy at all, but I want to, for once, take my body to the next level.

Guys, cut the carbs on weekdays, have some carbs on weekends (yes, beer is full of carbs), and you will slowly lose the weight....
No need to starve yourself.......stick to green vegetables and meat.......that's all I eat during the week, and losing pounds after ponds......and I'm always full! :) |

I have recenly started only buying food that has NO high fructose corn syrup in it. You'd be fucking surprised on how hard that actually is... it's in everything from Ketchup to Bread.

If you looked at the labels on the foods you buy and cut out any saturated fats and I guarantee you'll knock pounds off!! add that with some exercise and lots of water and you're on the right track!! :)
everyone says I look great but I watch pretty much eVERYTHING I eat and I exercise 4-5 times a week on top of the martial arts training 2 times a week! :) |
