Fraud/Scammer Alert - Sponsors Inside.........
 

I will omit certain domains and such during this post due to privacy of the real webmaster, however, all sponsors need to be weary of an affiliate using the following information.

Name: Yehua Lin
User: wntastic
Email: [email protected]

He recently signed up and sent bogus traffic to our program while using someone elses domain name on his registration. The conversion ratio was out of whack and stood out like a sore thumb, however traffic was present, so we dug deeper into the situation and contacted the owner of the site that the affiliate had stated was his, and come to find out he was posing as a link list owner as the real webmaster had no idea who this person was and did not have an affiliate account with us.

Just be weary as these guys are also putting down multiple domains on their accounts with large link lists hoping the sponsor doesn't bother to find the link.

Just a heads up for you guys on who to keep an eye out for. Just to confirm the entire situation, we just received an email from Epoch warning us about this bastard. So all is confirmed, and the processor has blocked him, time to bring the ban hammer down on your side.

I wanted to add to this thread that as affiliates, it's quite important that you keep your info up-to-date in your files. The 'good' thing about this case in particular was that MakingCoin was vigilant - and through further investigation with other programs, they were able to get the correct information for the 'real' person.

The thing everyone should be 'worried' about is the possibility of people using your identity to earn money - and if the EID/SSN info is yours, it will become a major headache for everyone involved.

I *strongly* recommend you keep in close contact with your sponsors.
