For the past 3 days, I've been watching Fox news just to see how much they spin things... Who will admit they watch this shit??

I get my news online and I do watch foxnews to see how they spin it.. I think thats why a lot of their audience are democrats

ADL Colin 08-27-2008 12:45 PM

I check out CNN, MSNBC and FOX. usually in rapid succession. Roll my eyes at all of them and go back to the internet and my newspaper/mag subscriptions.

Fresh 08-27-2008 12:47 PM

According to a Pew poll FOX viewers are 39% Republican 33% Democrat. Compare to CNN. 51% Democrat to 18% Republican. The numbers are skewed since Democrats are a lot more likely to watch the news.

http://people-press.org/report/?pageid=1353

Also: "The O'Reilly Factor with Bill O'Reilly is the most widely viewed talk show included in the poll: 10% of the public watches this show regularly and another 19% watch sometimes. Roughly two-thirds of O'Reilly's regular viewers are conservatives, while a mere 3% describe themselves as liberals."

Agreed here. I spend most of my time of the 3 at Fox News this year. Cnn I check it out if they got Carville on and MSNBC only if Joe or Pat are on or else I just turn off that piece of shit network. I never thought I'd see the day where 1. there is any network worse than Fox News (MSNBC) and 2. I'd prefer Fox News coverage over CNN and MSNBC. Even though Fox has a lot of BS to deal with at least they make an effort to give somewhat both sides.

Sad state the media has become with the 24/7 news channels.

Thank god for the net.

webcams_sean 08-27-2008 02:25 PM

The daily show is the only place for fake news!

MandyBlake 08-27-2008 02:28 PM

.

At least NBC admits they have an agenda that is center-left.

Fox claims to be fair and balanced and while they do show both sides, they do it in a way that makes the democrats look weak and put on pussies like Alan Colmes. The purpose of Fox News is to promote Republican talking points but make it appear "fair and balanced".

Kudles 08-27-2008 02:35 PM

I don't!

The past 8 months Fox has made more of an effort to have Dem point of views than MSNBC even comes close to provide Republican point of views.

NBC News as the network channel is center-left, but MSNBC is Extreme left. And in my opinion has gone far worse than Fox news.

All three cable networks are pretty sad though. Internet and BBC for me to get most of my news and info.

I LOVE Watching Fox News, nothing better to make you fall off your seat laughing at their bullshit!

There is only one country in the world where people lack the brain capacity to call Fox News a news program.

DamianJ 08-28-2008 04:39 AM

Isn't "Fox News" an oxymoron?

LOL sadly all three cable news networks have forgot what news is about. Even CNN has lost its way.

I will say I do watch CNN International religiously when I get a chance in other countries.

robfantasy 08-28-2008 07:50 AM

I am never surprised when people like you make 3 word assertions. I think Republicans are weak because they rarely think about the long term consequences of their decisions... it's all about how to make the quickest buck.

peedy 08-30-2008 01:42 AM

personally I prefer fox news

isnt anyone who supports the "wrong" side of an argument guilty of "spin". it seems as though everyone here considers those who emphasize the importance of certain "facts" over others to support their viewpoint are guilty of "spin". who the fuck doesnt do that? havent you ever considered they present it that way because thats how they compute it internally? the same way you do when you argue the opposite side. dont YOU ALSO dismiss what THEY consider important while pushing the "facts" youve deemed to be relevant to the topic at hand? cry me a river :2 cents:

bringer 09-02-2008 03:11 PM

thought so

mikeyddddd 09-02-2008 04:09 PM

I watch the MSNBC schedule when they originally air from 5-8 Central and The Daily Show at 10. I watch Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly later.

Unless there's a football game on. Then I watch them all later.

LeRoy 09-02-2008 04:23 PM

We have Jillian on this side. so hell yah I'm watching FOX. She's one hot MILF

arial 09-02-2008 04:25 PM

I like to watch it to see how insane they are. If you ever want to laugh your ass off watch Fox News unless they've gotten to you already.

Brujah 09-02-2008 04:28 PM

I didn't bother until recently. Once they picked Palin for VP, I had to tune in to listen to them all stumble around trying to inflate how awesome she is. How much experience she has, after they spent all that time talking about Obama's total lack of experience. It's very amusing to watch. There were real VP choices they could've picked, and they ended up with her. Dumb.

don't watch it

Malicious Biz 09-02-2008 05:53 PM

So glad fox news is around. the bias of the other networks is just plain sickening. get some scruples CNN! for fucks sake.

Sausage 09-02-2008 06:02 PM

I get CNN, NBC and Fox here, and NBC is the worst. Its so 1 sided and blatantly so its almost hard to watch sometimes. CNN does have more of an outward world facing view (from what I get here) but I think can be a little pro Dem at times. Fox I think tries to be in the middle, I dunno, but I tend to find they at least do some stories the other 2 wont touch. Everything from every media outlet I have access to is either mildy or agressively pro democtat so its worth switching to Fox to get some news that isn't just about how wonderful Obama is and how evil McCain is :)
