Tons of snow, -40 tempatures.:disgust

"The coming Canadian winter will be crueller than usual even catastrophic, according to the US based farmers Almanac. It says in 2009 Canadian edition that most of the country will experience -40C weather weather or worse."

I live in WInnipeg.... no one knows cold better than I do.. trust me... -40 is a REGULAR occurance every winter here. I think we had one day where we hit -56 with wind chill and my cars engine temperature wouldn't stay in the WARM region unless I was driving. Kinda scary, because if it broke down, I wouldn't last more than 15 minutes outside.

I call bullshit on this one. Either its cold or it snows in Canada, not both. Once it drops below a certain temperature its too cold to snow.

Never been to Winterpeg I see. Here it warms up a little one day, snows a few feet, then the temp drops that night to -40.

I live in a house with heat, I go into the garage .. it has heat, i go into my car and it has heat, don't matter how fucking cold it is..

now when i was a kid.. and had to stand out and wait for the bus.. and only to find out it been cancelled.. grrrr

Ahhh whatever I used to work in the ag industry and I didn't know a single farmer that read the farmer's almanac, it's usually off by a bit.

Sorry man, i've seen it snow in -40 as well. Not heavy huge flakes type snow but blizzard type thin and cold and fuck kind of snow.. so it does happen :)

Yeah we have "block heaters" installed by default in Canada... so we plug in the car at night and it gives the engine just warm enough to keep the oil from freezing up, so it'll turn over the next morning.

I drive a Dodge SX 2.0 (same type as the Dodge Neon, just Canadian version). Bought it for the gas mileage to be honest and i'm thanking my lucky stars every damn day with gas at $1.35 a liter now.

Ironically enough global warming will not cause a nice even warming all over the planet, but instead it will cause exactly the situation the world has now- extreme temperature swings; stronger and more frequent hurricane activity due to the warmer equatorial oceans; melting ice caps and eventually a change in the salinity of the ocean that will potentially break the ocean current system which will cause truly catastrophic devastation across the globe.

Go south now!! It's not too late!!
