I just saw on CNN that he is also thinking about giving his acceptance speech on Thursday from the Gulf Coast via satellite instead of at the convention. Apparently they are now trying to one up each other on speeches.

The problem with these idiots in gov't is that they add a bunch of shit to bills that make them toxic for anyone to vote for them from the other party.

Two years ago the democrats won congress by running for "less gov't spending" and what did they do?

The added over 200 Billion to the budget in just two years then blamed Bush for increased spending.

The problem with idiots like Socks is that they don't read past the headlines to realize the reason McCain voted against it in the past is due to these riders you speak of.
