Modesto Man Walks into Denny's and Tries Amputating His Arm

A man in Modesto, CA who was afraid that he got air in his bloodstream from shooting up cocaine late last Friday entered a Denny's restaurant and tried amputating his arm, thinking it necessary in order to avoid death.

Michael Lasiter, 33, grabbed a butter knife from a table and began to stab his arm to no success. He then entered the kitchen and and started digging a butcher knife into his arm.

His severe cuts were treated at a nearby hospital.
