why does fox news have it at...

In regards to the Electoral College... Fox has it as
McCain 189 over Obama who is at 183, and the Rassmussen Reports has it at Obama at 193 over McCain who has 183.

http://www.270towin.com/ has it listed at 207 for Obama, and gives Obama an 84% chance of winning based on statistical probability.

I think we all know where Fox stands, but how could they be that openly deceptive? Shouldn't they at some point be forced to change their format to a 'satire' based news organization, rather than a real news organization?

I put it on earlier because I just wanted to get an idea of their coverage of Palin. Living in the UK you don't always get in depth with stories that are overly American. Anyway, I was treated to watching one of the blonde women that was fronting some of the convention coverage do an interview with a woman from New York about the media questioning of Palin. The blonde asked her if she thought it was fair to question the canidate in relation t having so many kids and running for office. When the woman didn't give her the pro-Republican answer she wanted the interviewer literally shouted down the person she was interviewing and said she thought their viewers would be insulted. This was only one commercial break apart from the same woman telling a speaker at the convention she would be clapping for him and then quickly adding 'if reporters were allowed to clap..even if we know the speaker'.

Yeah, quality coverage.

Have you had the privilege of seeing Sean Hannity doing an interview on Faux News?

Hopefully, this will backfire on them as the Republicans will think they have it in the bag, then they stay home and don't vote. I wish they had it 538-0 for McCain.

Regardless of the polls everyone should exercise their right to vote - Republicans and Democrats alike.

Because they know and I hope that the majority of Americans know that the poll's have to look close.
Fact is the Election process is hijacked, the votes do not matter and as long as it looks close there will not be so much grumbling over the Republicans winning again.

So the appearence of it all looking close is very important.

I spent a good amount of time researching who voted for Bush the 2nd time and really I did not find many. You can ask anyone around you, "Did you vote for Bush on the 2nd term?" and they will reply no, 90% of the time.

No one voted for BUsh on the 2nd term, the election was just hijacked and the media played out a close election with intention to assist throwing the election and avoiding civil unrest.

It is pretty obvious to me the Bush election was rigged and this one comming up will be no different.

No..I try to avoid Fox but now and then it is the only place to get coverage of a story over here.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-02-2008 12:12 PM

Even today you can ask around your own Neighborhood and try and find even 1 person that will vote for McCaine. You won't find hardly anyone voting for McCaine.

Yet somewhow he is always less than 5 points away...

Yeah fucking right...
Sure it's not rigged...

theharvman 09-02-2008 12:16 PM

Fuck Fox.

I try to listen to the various Fox, CNN and MSNBC broadcasts while I work. They repeat their programs throughout the evening, so I usually hear what each is saying.

Hannity, Neil Cavuto and Bill O'Reilly are more confrontational as they often talk over the guests when they do not respond as the interviewers would like. While the interviewers on the other broadcasts appear frustrated with their guests sometimes, they do let them speak until they veer off-topic or try to evade the question. Then they interrupt and try to steer the guest back with another question.
