VideoCharge Users: I need some help.

I'm batching a full length 720x480 Raw DV AVI's into smaller 2 minute FLV clips.

Everything works fine EXCEPT the beginning of each FLV has a glitch within the first few seconds where the video and sound freezes like for two seconds.

Very annoying because this is such a sweet program and I would hate to have to split the avis beforehand and then batch them.

Anyone ever run into this?

Sorry can't help with that one, but anytime I've had issue with VC their support has more than taken care of things.

not surprising...good luck with support....they will want the original files and then test them...and then they will tell you that they weren't able to recreate the problem...

are you using the sorensen codec or the on2vp6?

using the sorenson h.263

i posted on their support board. No answer yet.

I have tried everything, even removing all the crops and overlays i was doing in the same process.

Seems like their splitter itself has a bug.

You are 100% right about that Chris, that has been my experience with VideoCharge support as well. I have been trying to tell them for over a year that VideoCharge cannot properly auto-split Quicktime files without re-compression, with *any* variety of Quicktime codec. They asked me for samples and said they would look into it to no result as of yet two upgrade versions later.

BV, try the ON@2VP6 codec, it comes out better, or split the AVI first.
