I'm switching back and forth... I want to keep using chrome for a while so I can check out the "Most visited" thing on that page that loads when you open a new tab.

Bojangles 09-02-2008 01:06 PM

I might give it a try in a few mins.

So far I disagree. Its working really good for me, and I love FF, but have been having FF issues lately related to cookies. Its fast as fuck for me so far. Not a single problem with installing. And does what it should. Had to find where to check in order to have home button uptop, but got that figured out now. :thumbsup

Uhmm, it's a fine browser. Works very well, the task manager portion with the split processes is a godsend. I can see this changing the way browsers are done in the future but for right now, it's lacking a lot of content. But that's how they intended it. It's open source... people will add to it. Chances are, if it catches on, people will add to it faster than they did with Firefox and if that happens, it could be a real contender in the browser wars.

Porko 09-02-2008 02:56 PM

everything loads really fast. and the design its amazing.
i lke it

YellowDude 09-02-2008 03:20 PM

Voodoo 09-02-2008 03:34 PM

Port your plugin over damn it hehe.

X Industry Jobs 09-02-2008 03:48 PM

I'll take a look at it when the final version comes out. But until then FF has my soul.

NewbieNudes 09-02-2008 03:56 PM

You want fast, stable and compliant, try the new Opera. It is seriously worth a try, screaming fast.

http://www.opera.com

.

kelso23 09-02-2008 04:17 PM

It loaded in no time, moved all my fav's over no problem, and is pretty fast imo, and its a Beta product. I like the history feature and the "incognito" option is cool if you happen to share the PC you are on.

I'll use it for a while to see what it's like.

Safari also sucks major ASS for me FF until now

Inde 09-02-2008 06:44 PM

It is fast as hell... I really like it so far.

Manowar 09-02-2008 06:47 PM

loads shit ridiculously fast.

Iron Fist 09-02-2008 06:48 PM

Very fast, but FF is fast without any extensions or plugins attached as well. Only problem is that when I surf GFY, I see ads in places I never knew they were, like this message box! Firefox blocks all ads, so i get a fairly stripped down version of GFY, which is the way I like it, but Chrome puts them all back in. Until they implement some way of whitelisting ad blocking like AdBlockPro - I will never use it.

"they"?

It'll happen. It's only a matter of time. It's open source which means google doesn't have to do squat. Others are already working on making it happen.
